One of the concepts that excites me in architecture, and especially DADUs, is the 4th dimension– time. When we add DADUs and ADUs, there is another dwelling or dwellings available to use differently as the needs of the people who live there change. This recently completed DADU is a guest house for friends and family, in the future it might be a long term rental….It is a tiny house, 364 SF gross floor area on two levels, 268 SF footprint (maximum for this property) and reuses a garage footprint. Housing for people instead of structures for vehicles and stuff.
