Join us for two 2-hour webinars intended for professionals looking to increase their knowledge about Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) development in order to respond to increasing client demand for properties with ADU potential.
Increasing numbers of prospective home buyers and homeowners are interested in building an ADU on their property, and professionals can be on the cutting edge of this emerging development trend to help homeowners/developers understand site eligibility, development process and costs, and the return on investment of ADUs. This course is intended to help real estate and building professionals understand the basic planning and building regulations for ADU development in Seattle now that the land use code has been updated and to provide insight into ADU regulations in the broader Seattle metro area.

(This is an optional designation and it is not required to attend the All About ADUs course)
Earn the ‘ADU Specialist’ designation and display your ADU credentials to the market. You must be a green designated professional in order to satisfy the prerequisite to earn the ‘ADU Specialist’ accreditation. The prerequisite can be completed before or after you take/pass the ADU Specialist Exam, which is made available online after the ‘All About ADUs’ training. Currently approved green designation trainings include:
- Real Estate Professionals: Earth Advantage Broker, NAR Green, EcoBroker
- Building Pros: Sustainable Homes Professional, EEBA Certified, LEED AP/GA, BPI Certified, GreenHome Professional
- Appraisal Pros: Accredited Green Appraiser, Appraisal Institute Green Appraiser
