This 800 sf Backyard Cottage was constructed from the ground up and designed to fit in with the scale of the neighborhood. It is an open, airy studio that originally served as a guest house. This new build DADU creates a new revenue stream and a flexible space that can be used for different purposes in the future such as an office. We achieved 4- Star Built Green certification and the project received the Judges’ Choice Award at Built Green Conference 2016. Contractor: Model Remodel.
Sheri led two projects for us—a nearly complete renovation of our house in 2016, and a renovation of our master bathroom in 2018. In each project, she came to the table with unbelievably creative concepts that we loved. Without fail, she delivered ideas and plans on time and under budget. She helped us in all aspects of the construction, from inception to final walk-through. The construction process can be confusing; Sheri was able to explain the inevitable challenges when they arose, and was able to offer valuable advice to overcome them.
